Mystery tonight surrounds yesterday's visit of Mikheil Saakashvili to Turkey after the president's officials failed to inform the Georgian media of the trip and then refused to discuss details of the visit and reportedly consular officials demanded that no pictures were taken of the Georgian president in Istanbul.
Reportedly the president was meeting business figures with an interest in energy.
Georgian newsagency, Gruzia Online, quoting Turkish media sources, said the president was meeting people from the Andalou Group, which has invested in energy in Georgia.
